Anna Gonzalez

As an intern with the Gibbons lab, Anna used MICOM and clinical data to complete an association analysis between predicted gas production versus self-reported bloating. Following this, she investigated the association between predicted gas and bacteria in the microbiome of the gut. She also worked on investigating whether different microbes of the same genera were able to grow in the same environment or were in competition with each other.
