- Biography
Amanda Holmes came to the Gibbons Lab with over 13 years of experience working in clinical research. She completed her Masters in Public Health Capstone project in the Gibbons Lab, working on a clinical research protocol regarding maternal and infant microbiomes. Previously, she had worked on enteric and diarrheal disease initiatives in low- and middle-income countries, and obtained her first Masters degree in Nutrition. Her aim was to combine degrees to continue her research focus on understanding the gut microbiome and its influences on human health.
