I graduated with a B.S. in Biotechnology and specialized in Bioinformatics. I completed a certificate in Biomedical Informatics and will be going to get my master’s in health informatics with a specialization in data science this summer. Currently, I work part-time at RAIN Incubator as a Data Analyst and help with IRB management for our COVID population study. I have also finished working on a collaboration between RAIN and Pierce County’s DOH where we looked for active transmission of COVID using wastewater epidemiology. These experiences made me realize the impact of having data-driven solutions to healthcare problems. At ISB, I worked on machine learning approaches to predicting recurrent CDI from EHRs.
